How AI usage works
Smart Matching is not a live AI reply+
It looks for a suitable saved answer using wording, intent and synonyms. Saved FAQ matches do not use your monthly AI allowance. Lite and Pro use this approach for live visitors.
What uses the account allowance?+
Each successful AI Pro live generative reply uses one unit. Each successful AI FAQ drafting request also uses one unit, even when it drafts several FAQs. This counter is shared by all chatbots on your account.
When the live allowance runs out+
Saved FAQ matching remains available. An unmatched question receives the existing contact-information prompt instead of a generative reply. FAQ drafting may remain available; its current endpoint does not enforce this live-response cap.
Monthly reset and preview+
Allowances reset at the next calendar month; unused units do not roll over. Dashboard preview has a separate allowance of 10 AI replies per month, shared across your account.
When does a free trial begin?+
Registration opens a free workspace to create and preview a chatbot. Eligible accounts can begin a 14-day subscription trial at checkout. Trial eligibility and any payment requirements are shown there. A trial or paid subscription is required to deploy your live widget.
